About This Subject

Why Air Law matters for every pilot

Air Law underpins every flight operation. The Chicago Convention of 1944 established the foundations of international civil aviation, and the 19 ICAO Annexes set the technical and operational standards adopted worldwide.

For EASA candidates, Part-FCL (personnel licensing) and Part-MED (medical) are essential reading. Post-Brexit UK candidates must also understand how UK CAA regulations align with and diverge from their EASA equivalents.
